I thrived despite a toxic work environment | Daryl Hych - S.O.S. podcast #78
When I read Daryl’s book, I was immediately struck by how many people witnessed his cruel treatment but stayed silent as bystanders.
Today we will talk to someone who witnessed gross leadership failures but has decided to take his story public to change the culture of secrecy around toxic work climates. Like families with dirty, dark secrets, we must not be afraid to have candid and emphatic talks with one another about hard things.
His book “Where is the Chief” highlights inadequate leadership within the US Navy Chief community.
Daryl Hych retired from the U.S. Navy after serving for nearly 3 decades. He is an Award Winning Instructor and Founder of The Switzer Hych Group. The Switzer Hych Group is a consulting firm helping New Business Owners. Mr. Hych developed an Entrepreneurship Program named Entrepreneur Think Camp, focusing on Transitioning Military Personnel, Youth, and Medium Size Companies.
He is the Publisher of Tampa Pioneer, Tampa's Entrepreneurship Magazine. He was recently elected as the First Vice President of the Hillsborough County NAACP Chapter.
