That quote that my friend Jake Edwards told me about stayed in my mind last week as I took on learning to ski. For many years, I would always avoid sports, especially anything that I would know publicly. It’s like all those thoughts of shame from childhood came crashing back. However, I finally needed to move forward, so I decided to take on this challenge. I had a breakthrough I could never have imagined, so I took a few minutes to reflect on it here.
