Today on S.O.S. I talk with Marissa Martin, who resides near my hometown of Columbus, Ohio, and works as a real estate agent.

Not only will we dive deep into her business and what to look for in an ethical agent when purchasing a home, but a few years ago, she experienced the worst tragedy that could happen to a family member.

After a successful career in the Army, her husband took his own life, and she was left to pick up the pieces and raise her two young boys by herself.

Hear how she did it and overcame such incredible odds to be the warrior and business leader she is today.

Born and raised in Dublin, OH, and graduating from Dublin Coffman, you could say Marissa Martin is a Columbus Native. Marissa attended The Ohio State University before meeting her Husband, who joined the United States Army in 2015.

After moving around due to the military, Marissa and her two children currently reside and call Hilliard, OH home. She has been helping families find their perfect homes and selling for top dollar for five years.

Starting her Real Estate journey in 2018 with New Construction homes and moving into resale real estate in 2019, Marissa is a well-rounded agent in buying and selling all types of residential homes.

Currently, Marissa is working with the Karen Mavis Home Team, a top 5% team in the Columbus MLS.
